The health portion of the program will include two health panels, a medical and surgical panel. On the surgical panel specialists will be giving the audience more insight to common surgical procedures. On the medical panel specialists will discuss the significance of some common tests that patients are asked to take as a part of a routine check up. There will also be free screenings available at the event.
In addition, there will be games and magic show for all of the kids to enjoy! We will also be holding a Cultural Program, with several dance performances.
Food and drinks will be available as well at the event! We will also be holding a raffle and an auction.
This year we will be donating to the Wilmington Firefighters Holiday Fund and Global Youth H.E.L.P-India Chapter (Health, Education, Leadership Program).
The Wilmington Firefighters Holiday Fund was started by the firefighters 12 years ago for the purpose of providing assistance to the less fortunate persons in the
community around the Christmas season. Food and toys are given to families in need.
The program has expanded to include a Thanksgiving Basket outreach and assistance to families who have experienced a fire loss.
The Global Youth H.E.L.P (India Chapter) organization works to “harness the power of youth by developing a global network of passionate youth leaders
dedicated to performing community service and leading positive change through health, education, and leadership programs.”
